Attendance Information:

Students can check their attendance record at any time by seeing Ms. Nelson, their AP, or Mr. Smith, the social worker. Students may only have 5 unlawful absences without being denied credit for that class. They can make up one block of time, which allows them, with make-up time, 6 unlawful absences.  Please remember that unverified absences, parent notes, and illness notes count against the five days.  Freshmen in year-long classes can have up to ten unlawful absences in a 45 minute class.  Please see Ms. Nelson, Mr. Smith, and Mr. Collyer for a sheet to log make-up time or to appeal attendance if a student has more than six unlawful absences.

Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) presented a plaque and $2500 check to the Photography department to honor the memory of Dr. Ken Mak, who served as the official photographer of PTR for more than 10 years.

The check will go into a scholarship fund to ensure that a young person in financial need can pursue his or her passion for photography.
